I ordered two candles from Spooky Wicks, and both are lovely. The scents are complex and evocative without being overpowering, and the color combination between the wax and the glass container makes for a gentle, amber light when lit. I also really like the artwork on the candles.
There is one very small issue, which is why I've rated these as a 4 rather than a 5. Namely, the wick takes a few attempts to light, as the wick almost seems to drown in the melting wax and go out. Tilting and swirling the candle for a minute or two after lighting, allowing the liquid wax to flow to the side of the candle, seems to solve that problem, and then the candle burns pleasantly for hours at a time.
Thank you for making these candles, I like them a great deal and I look forward to trying other scents in the future.
